Wesley, Valerie Wilson

Valerie Wilson Wesley's latest novel, Always True to You in My Fashion, was released in November 2002 by Harper-Collins. She has also authored six Tamara Hayle Mysteries and the novel Ain't Nobody's Business If I Do (October, 1999, Avon/Harper-Collins), for which she received the 2000 award for excellence in adult fiction from the Black Caucus of the American Library Association (BCALA). The Tamara Hayle mysteries include The Devil Riding (2000), Easier to Kill (1998), No Hiding Place (1997), Where Evil Sleeps (1996), Devil's Gonna Get Him (1995) and When Death Comes Stealing (1994). All of her novels have been Blackboard bestsellers and When Death Comes Stealing was nominated for a Shamus award. The Tamara Hayle Mysteries are also published in Great Britain, France, Germany and Poland. Ain't Nobody's Business If I Do was published in Germany by Diogenes Verlag in August 2001.
