Carl Weber

Despite the success and acclaim Carl Weber has found with all of his novels, he says that the path which lead him there was a rocky one. I am a life-long reader and wanted to write, but I wasn't the best English student, Weber admits. When he realized that the importance of African-American fiction within the world of publishing was growing, he couldn't resist putting his pen to the paper. wanted to write a book about ordinary people who have crazy things happen in their lives, Weber says. His work stood out and received immediate positive response from readers, including in the all-important sales arena.
